Come see!

Fri Dec 26, 2008, 8:13 PM
Alright, so, for christmas, i got an EASEL!!! excitement. so, you'll see more of my work up, just cuz i'm excited to use it. i think i'm gonna take it to college, but i haven't told my roommate yet, so keep it hush-hush. but yeah, i'm actually posting stuff now. not just fun pictures i've taken. i hope you enjoy. i'm not as good as half the artists on here, but i'm learning. i just finished a book i got last christmas. (omg, it should NOT have taken that long.) anyway, it really made me think about how to be more artistic and less realistic at times. the book is called "Drawing on the Artist Within" by betty edwards. i recommend it. Now i'm going through an art class curriculum called "100 Creative Drawing Ideas". (obviously they couldn't come up with even 1 creative name, but the book is good anyway.) lotsa fun ideas.
well, i'm off. enjoy the new stuff!

Thanks Schnickitz :D
Yes, I use different pencils to create different shades. H pencils are good for sketch and details, B pencils are great for darkness area (for ex. black hair or pupils). I also use a a technic called "circularism", it's very easy but a little time consuming. Search it on google or try this link [link] :)
I hope it helps a bit :D
